"Discipler" Message 2-2-20

3 February 2020
Series: theCHURCH

Point:  If we are truly going to make disciples of Jesus Christ we must be willing and quick to share our lives with others, at the cost of our lives, so they can see and experience Jesus.

Scripture: Mt. 28:18-20; 2 Cor. 4:1-6

Questions:
1. Why does it seem that the spiritual growth of others is usually “everyman for himself”? What is the best way for someone to help you grow closer to Christ?
2. Read Mt. 28:18-19. What did Jesus mean when He said to “Go and make disciples”? What is a disciple of Jesus Christ?
3. Read Mt 28:20. Why do you think people feel they have to “soften” the word of God when trying to lead others to grow in Christ?
4. Read 2 Cor. 4:1-2. If we know that true salvation and sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit why then do we often think it depends on our presentation?
5. Read 2 Cor. 4:3-6. How does your life make the gospel of Jesus Christ easier to understand?
