Point: Disciple making from one generation to the next doesn’t come natural and therefore must be intentionally pursued.

Scripture: Ps 78:1-8; 1 Cor. 4:14-16

  1. What problems do generation gaps create in the world? How could and should the church help?

  2. Read 1 Cor. 4:14-16. How would you describe a spiritual mom and dad and why are they important?

  3. Read Ps. 78:1-3. What is the biggest obstacle that keeps you from reaching out to those who are younger than you? How about those older?

  4. Read Ps. 78:1-4. What is it that you wish the generation older than you knew? What is it you wish the generation younger than you knew?

  5. How is someone sharing their family with others an effective faith builder? What is the risk?
